How might you be able to start incorporating Design Thinking into your curriculum?

Mar 6 | 10:15 AM

Location: Zoom Room 4

Design thinking is not a new design approach but it has been gaining momentum in recent years. It’s an innovative way to solve ambiguous problems creatively and with a diverse group. It provides a framework to help learn creativity, even if you are not a creative person.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced Design Thinker, this discussion style workshop will provide you with the opportunity to explore different applications of Design Thinking (DT.)
Learn from different projects where we applied DT with community organizations and some of the challenges presented. This will provide with ideas on how might you be able to implement DT.
Take part on small group discussions, practice DT steps and collaborate with peers to help you discover opportunities in your area of work. How might you be able to start implementing and using DT? How might you be able to understand further students’ needs and practice design thinking fundamentals? These are some of the questions we will be exploring in our discussions.
The workshop allows you to work alongside other people in generating ideas that can be incorporated into your workplace. It provides the perfect opportunity for professionals like yourselves to practice DT steps.
